What an incredible week I have just had! The students at Carbondale Middle School infused me with a new energy for teaching! The students reminded me of what it means to step into creative abandonment and be fearless in the process. As adults, we can easily forget what it was like when we inherently "knew" what it meant to be free to create. I hope these photographs will inspire you to go to your closet and dust off those paints or markers and spend a day with your kids, just creating for the sake of pure joy!

Thank you to Amy Shubitz (seeing a desire in her students and writing the grant, her vision and her inspirational teaching style) Danny Stone, and Ro Mead, Director of the Carbondale Council for Arts and Humanities. And most of all to the WONDERFUL students at CMS, thank you for your enthusiasm and a week I will always remember.
