Before heading to bed last night, I checked my email and Facebook page. While surfing around on some friends pages, I found this profound statement by Jeff Brown of Soulshaping.com

Our security blanket is often what suffocates us.
It’s one thing if what secures us is congruent with
our sacred purpose, but if it isn’t, then what have we
gained? The illusion of security at the expense of our
authenticity. Better we prioritize our truest path above
all else. Better we trust our soul’s calling. Then we can
sleep without a security blanket, warmed by the fires
of our authenticity. Better to live true. ~ Jeff Brown @ www.soulshaping.com

It was a 2×4 moment.

You know those moments when you’ve been standing in the dark trying to find your way

and suddenly

someone turns on the light and you’re blinded by the sheer brilliance of seeing the whole picture?

This statement, was that moment for me!

Each word,

each line

Spoke to my SOUL.

Especially this ONE:

It’s one thing if what secures us is congruent with
our sacred purpose, but if it isn’t, then what have we
gained?
