Hello to all!

It has been a long journey into night and I am happy to be home, back in the studio and in the arms of my amazing community.

I have a few special people to thank for keeping The Spark up and running while I was supporting my mom to pass on to her next adventure. First Mr. George Stranahan who had no idea what he was getting into when he said, "Yes," to sharing the studio with me. George, Sue Drinker, Karen Lanier and Beth White finished up the amazing photo project, The Child's Eye, which is currently hanging in the CCAH R2 Gallery. If you did not come to the opening, the exhibit is not to be missed.

To Rochelle Norwood who kept the art flowing and growing, my heart to you. We've had great feedback on the first round of summer programming. On that note…Rochelle started up Up-cycled Clothing today and it continues on for the next 4 weeks, tomorrow begins Re-Create It!. You can view full class details and register online at Carbondale Council on Arts and Humanities

To my retreat partners, Laura Kirk, Susan Gibbs, Lisa Jones and Rita Marsh….THANK YOU for carrying on without me. In the words of a participant, the experience was "profound."

Thank you too to Terry Rigney and Challenge Aspen for our first successful collaboration. We sure had fun creating our Spirit Animals with all of you. We look forward to many more!

Our women's intuitive painting group continues every other Wednesday. This is an open studio wild heart painting class and is based on the Painting Your Heart Out-Soul Sessions classes. NO experience is necessary, but it's suggested that you have attended at least one Painting Your Heart out or Soul Sessions workshop.

The studio now offers Equine Therapy experiences with our new studio partner,  Susan Gibbs  or SG Horses, and her beautiful herd.  Join us every Friday for our Sacred Journey's Rides. We'll be putting on some demos this fall, so you can see for yourself the gift of healing with horses.
